“A magical week cooking week in Tuscany..”

I am truly delighted with the week I spent at Casa Ombuto.
Everything I had imagined it could be was heightened in reality of this very special place.

I chose the Mediterranean course to get as much variety as possible, but mostly because I had a feeling that Chef Laura Giusti was the teacher I needed.
I was right - she is nothing short of a treasure. She guided our group seamlessly through the week and has provided me with much confidence and inspiration. Working with such beautiful ingredients under her direction was a dream. Thank you Laura! Special thanks also to (Chef Laura's team) Monica and Marta who are so fun, warm and encouraging.

The villa itself is stunning - the pool especially! It is clear the entire Tuscookany team works very hard to provide guests with an exceptional experience.

The final element of my magical week were my fellow student chefs. I happily join the hundreds of reviewers before me who have made true friends at this special place. From the first 'salute!' to our last we were a team and I am so lucky to have met each one of them.
