“It's like heaven on earth!”

I waited months with great anticipation to go to Torre del Tartufo. I returned home this morning from a week's cooking there. Wow, Wow Wow!
What a location, from the moment you glimpse it through the trees until you pass through the gates for the last time, every little detail has been thought of and provided for. Franco, Barbara and Paula make sure you are looked after and given an experience that can hardly be put into words. Franco is such a patient teacher and smiles and encourages you every step of the way. Paula and Ryan make sure the cooking flow never stops. The Villa itself is magical and for those who want to go but NOT cook will find a stunning restful vista to look at while relaxing around the pool or in the gym / sauna area. You can take walks or visit beautiful towns like Arezzo, Cortona, Anghiari and my favourite Montepulciano. The rooms are simply decorated as they should be to reflect the Tuscan style, but don't think you will be short changed for comfort.
I have come away with new found skills, a love for the Tuscan sunset, foods that I can actually cook, and a desire to one day return. The highlight of my trip was ALL of Torre del Tartufo. Treat yourself and go discover a special place.
