I've been trying to think of a word to describe my week of October 4-11 at Casa Ombuto...the best I could come up with is "love". I know Tuscookany is a business but somehow Paola, Alex, Monica, Marta and the rest of the crew (forgive me - I can't remember all of your names) make you feel that you are family...they love you and, in return, you love them! They love what they are doing, love food, love the process of cooking and have such a joie de vivre that it is contageous! Oh! Did I say that you also learn to prepare incredible food? It was wonderful! My bucket list is complete.
P.S. My husband, who stayed home, still thinks pizza should have pepperoni on it! 😀
