That was our chef Paola's favourite saying! Every review you are reading here is true - this was a dream come true. Don't worry about going on your own, you will make such great new friends.
If you don't want to drive you can get a train or bus to Poppi and be picked up there for the short ride to the villa. Amazing food and wine awaits you.
I did not expect to learn as much, did not expect to meet such amazing people. You know, when you don't want to set your expectations too high in case you come away disappointed? You will not come away disappointed.
I can now make some incredible pasta, soup and desserts and have a real appreciation for not eating food that is anything less than fresh and absolutely delicious.
My week at Casa Ombuto was probably the nicest thing I have ever done for myself.
