My first visit to Casa Ombuto was in May 2008, which turned out to be one of my most memorable vacations. In October I had the opportunity to return to this amazing cooking school. Aside from the lovely grounds and accommodations what makes this experience so special is having the opportunity to cook under the guidance of Chef Paolo Baccetti who is absolutely wonderful - on top of being a talented chef, Paolo is warm, humorous and genuinely interested in her students. Be prepared to spend a wonderful week cooking, laughing, drinking a little wine and meeting new friends.
