By Plane

In terms of travel, your best bet is to fly into Florence as this is the closest airport (1 hour and 15 minutes). If you can get good deals to either Pisa (2 hours and 15 minutes) or for that matter Rome (3 hours) or Milan (4 hours by fast train), this is also a possibility.

By Car

We recommend car hire. You are more flexible if you have a car as you have plenty of free time to explore the area. We can help you with suggestions as there are many places with great historical value and beauty in the vicinity. The villa is about a 15 minute drive from the closest city, so quite remote. Your best bet is to rent a car at the airport. Most reputable car hire companies are represented and the prices are similar. You can book your car on-line so it’s ready when you land. We recommend either Avis or Europcar, as they both have offices in Arezzo in case you run into any car trouble.

By Train

Alternative transportation is to take the train. You need to take a train to Arezzo, from where you can travel to the villa by cab. For the timetable have a look at Trenitalia.com and Raileurope.com

No Car

If you choose this option, you might feel stranded once you are at the villa. But if you prefer just to relax after and enjoy the pool and other facilities of the villa, take a hike or book a massage then this would suit you. If you need us to arrange a cab to Arezzo during the week, (for example morning trips or your free day) we can arrange this easily.
